Drink, drink, drink

That is just what the pool did...it took almost 5000 gallons to filler up...Yip, that is almost the amount of what we use a month...I guess the bill will just about double this month..oh well...the price you must pay to have fun!

Here are some pictures of the girls, they had so much fun while the pool was filling up...Faith would run then slide on her knees. Lauren laid in the water like a mermaid, until the water got fuller...I think this is going to be a great summer and loads and loads of fun...stay tuned, more pool pictures to come soon! I cant wait to get a tan!

The Simmons' have officially become Coweta Rednecks

We Got OURSELVES a SWIMMING POOL

The summer is here, and it has brought with it the Oklahoma sun...and it is hot. The girls have been taking swim lessons for 2 months now and we decided it was time to get a pool...nothing fancy...just a redneck pop up pool, as I like to call them. Here are some pictures of us putting it up!

Baby Faith

Since I have told you all that little Audrey looks SO much like Faith, I thought I would post some baby pictures of Faith and then some of Lauren. Then you all can decide just who you think she looks like...

This is just a free one...I had forgot about this picture...it was such a good one..

Baby Lauren

Lauren's baby picture look TOTALLY different than what she looks like now..but we will see if any of you see any Lauren in Audrey.. PS all the pictures of Lauren are 2 months or younger...can you believe all the hair on this kid...After looking through the pics I see more of Lauren in Audrey than I thought.

From tears to Showers of fun...

As the girls are getting older, we are trying to allow them to do more, especially their hygiene. They both love baths, but do not like the shower. So today I told them they had to take a shower, and I got my usually crying. But Miss Faith asked if they could do it by themselves, and I said sure...they just thought that was so cool! So the tears went away and go to bathe themselves...they had a blast!

The Pea in the Pod

\

So I never said, so much for never said...anyways. I was never thrilled with the idea of having something strapped on to me so I could tote my kid around, until now. I found these cool slings, called hotslings, and I must say I love it and so does she. I found them online and ordered it, but the other day while in Target, I saw that they are now caring the same brand. Anyways, Audrey at first was not having it, then I tried her again in a few weeks, and lets just say the pictures tell it all! She absolutely loves it! In this picture, we were actually going for a walk, the whole family! Anyway, so much for never....
Okay as for the hair...lets just say I know it needs work...and i got it done..yeah! I love the blonde, but it it too high maintenance for this busy mom, so back to brown I went...I will post a picture of me with my new hair soon...I need to take a picture of me on a day I have my hair and my face done at all the same time..haha...like that happens much!

Faith's Graduation

Today Faith had her graduation from k-5 at Victory~I can not believe I am a mom to a first grader...She is growing so fast.
As some of you may know, we had to change schools in the middle of the year, but I am so thankful. Faith has done very well, not only academic, but socially!
Their graduation was very well done. Each kid had a part to play. It sadness me to see my baby girl graduating from Kindergarten. I got very teared up when she was on the stage. I really wanted to cry like a baby, but held back.
With just having Audrey and now one in first grade, time as sure flown by. I look at Audrey, and it is like looking at a little Faith, knowing she is not so little anymore. If anyone out there knows of some magic to give little babies to keep them that way, please tell me!! This mama don't want her baby to grow up!

The busy little life of a One Month Old

Miss Audrey is a month old today. Yesterday she went in for her check up..she weighed 10lbs 1 oz and was 21 1/4 inch long. For a month old she has had a very busy life..she has been to two graduations, had her grandma visit. Visited with her aunt and uncle Dawn and Richie, had her picture taken, took her first bath..went to incredible Pizza. Took a nap with dad, swang in the swing, got lots of kisses from her two sisters. Lived through her first tornado. On Wed the 14th we took her to church for the first time, only to get there just minutes before a tornado touched down and blew off some of the metal at the storage building on the church grounds. Very scary, but thank God I know who I am in Christ and what I have, and I was surrounded with other believers who know who they are, and no one was hurt! Last but surely not the last time she will do it, was sleep, eat and poop!

Here are some pictures I have taken of her this month....

Napping and looking oh so cute!

Gammie comes to vist

My mom came to met Miss Audrey, and of course to see Faith and Lauren. I told her to pack her energy pills cause these two would keep her on her toes. And they did just that.
We had a wonderful visit. The girls spent every moment with mom, even when she slept, they were right next to her. They so enjoy having her, as do I.
Mom gave Lauren a massage, and she told her...Just the way I like it....as if she gets these all the time..anyways it was so funny! My mom and I laughed the whole week! I even managed to get a rub or two...would of loved to of gotten more...but there is always next time.

We even put her to work. Here are some pictures of her and the girls planting flowers and veggies...

Thanks mom for all your help...we miss you already!

Audrey sleeps in her bed for the first time.....

For a nap that is...Audrey is enjoying the night life sleeping with mom and dad, but during the day, she is sleeping in her crib! She really likes it. We have a sound machine in there and I turn it on and she drifts off to sleep...

She is really sleeping well. At night she is sleeping about 3-5 hours at a time..YEAH! Mom is actually getting a little rest!
