Iced Inn

Last week we got a winter Ice storm. The bad thing about these storms, is the clean up is so much worse than if we just got snow. Especially the roads. With that said, the girls were home 3 days last week. While they were home, they did get to go sledding down the drive way. They both had a really great time!

We also baked cookies, and even made a special cookie for Dad, that we of course all shared!

We spray painted the ice

This is what I like to call Times Square, this is in our neighborhood

This is a picture of how thick the ice was

Lately I have noticed that i have not been capturing as many pictures of Faith. I recognize this, and will make up for it! Trust me

All I see in this picture in her face is her as a baby. Its the mouth and the checks, Oh I already miss those days!

Here she is again, jumping away on her new toy from Gammie

Sister LOVE. Faith love love love loves Audrey! She has turned out to be a great help! Sometimes too much, but she really does spend a lot of time with Audrey!

100th day of school

Lauren had to make a poster with 10 groups of 10 things she liked. At school they celebrate the 100th day of school. I made 100 cookies for her class. Faith's class, made a snack, with 10 items, containing 100 pieces of each. Her class had to count out the 100 items. I did not attend either celebration, but both girls came home with smiles on thier faces.

Letting Go

My little Audrey is growing so fast right before my eyes. She is 9 months now, and is trying really hard to walk. The other day she took a few tiny baby steps. She will find anything she can to stand up, and then she lets go, and just stands there, thinking really hard about getting her feet to move. I took some pictures of her and thought I would share them.

This is my big girl! She stood there for almost a minute while a snapped picture after picture!

My little peacock! She is still a blondie, and this picture shows the true color

See her teeth, she has gotten the two top teeth in too!

All I want for Christmas is my two bottom front teeth...and I got 'em

This is the song little Audey has been singing, okay we have been singing to her. And she did get both teeth. Today She is 8 months old. And time is flying way to fast but I have been loving every minute of it...okay not the minutes in the middle of the night..hehe! She has been a mover and a shaker. She is pulling up on everything. Trying her harderst to walk. She stands up in her bed and is still just the cutiest thing ever!

I still know I need to get better at taking pictures of the other two, my next post will have pictures of them...

Mom what does normal mean?

This is the question asked to me by my 4 year old..(can u believe almost 5) anyway that is another blog. So back to what is normal...when Lauren asked me this, I knew right away I had a problem. She thinks the crazy life we live is normal, un be known to her, its a little out of whack. But we are working on it...Here are some pictures of the new house.

I must give my husband a lot of praise here. He single handed moved almost everything we own. There were days when I did not think he was going to make it. But the prize is well worth it. We have been working our little elves off to get everything moved and settled. We have everything unpacked and settled, with a few minor things still to be done..like organization..some of that just comes with time!

This is the grand entrance you walk into. It is really pretty.

This is the living room and the kitchen all in one area. While it is an open -type floor plan, its not totally open to everything...

This is the view from the kitchen looking at the living room...notice my red paint

This is the living room...if you know me I can not live in a house with out paint on the wall. So yes in the two weeks we have lived here, I have painted the living room and painted the wall where the bar stools are.

This is the wall I painted under neath the bar...its my favorite

Change, change, and more change

So its been awhile since i have blogged, and I have so many new things going on. First things first. This may come to a shock for some of you, but we are moving closer to town. We have actually been in the process for a few weeks now. But officially at the first of the month we will no longer live in Coweta. I could go in to the long drama story but I really do not want to discuss some of it over the blog.
I will be glad to share the details with any of you via email.
On a new note...Miss Audrey got her first tooth last week.
Another note..Shawn has been teaching me Auto-CAD so that I can start helping him. That has been fun yet challenging. Having your husband try to teach you a trade, he has done for 15+ years, is interesting. As some of you know, Shawn is now working just for the Integrated. So far, even with the economy, things have been going very well. Anyways, with him being home all day, makes for even more change around here. As if that was not enough...due to our move, after Christmas, Lauren will be starting school at Victory. Oh boy mama does not want her to grow up. But I know that she is very bored at home. And with having Audrey, my time is spread so thin at home. Lauren is a little nervous, but I really think it will be good for her. Next year she will be in Kindergarten. I just can not believe my baby is growing up! Its funny, with Faith, I never really felt this way, with Lauren I just want to ball her up and keep her small forever! If any of you know how I can do that, please let me know.
Okay so that's all I have for tonight. I think that is enough! I am tried and ready to go to bed. With moving, taking care of Audrey, cooking Thanksgiving dinner, I am just pooped!!!
Hope you and Your Families all have a very Wonderful Thanksgiving!!
